Beta Quick Start and FAQ

RESULTANT // VECTOR · Review draft · 17 October 2026

REVIEW DRAFT — Not yet effective. Complete the publication checks before inviting testers or publishing this as the active policy.

Start safely

Use the supported build named in your invitation. Keep another copy of important information. Start with manual setup if you prefer; enable Apple Health, speech or AI only when you want those features.

Can I use it without an account or AI

The intended beta retains manual local Project setup and recording. Cloud AI may require an account. The final invitation must identify any feature requiring sign-in; creating an account must not silently upload all your records.

What exactly goes to AI

Selected request text, relevant earlier setup answers and limited setup context. Stored Health measurements and complete histories are not automatically included. Health details that you type or dictate are still part of your message. Read the request explanation before enabling AI.

Can I check dictated text

Recognition can mishear words. Check the recognised text and suggested dates, numbers and units before submitting or accepting them. The final beta must provide an editable review step; do not promise this until tested.

Is it listening all the time

It should not be. Listening must start through your action, show a clear listening state and provide a stop control. Speech recognition is intended to run on device. Microphone recordings are not sent to OpenAI. Device verification is still required.

Can developers see my Health records

They do not gain access to device-only records simply because you join the beta. Information you send in support messages or AI text is different. Authorised staff and providers can process relevant hosted information for their stated purposes.

Where does AI run and does it train on my text

Global processing may occur in the US and elsewhere. API content is not used for training by default unless sharing is enabled; RV intends to leave sharing off. Temporary provider abuse-monitoring retention can still apply. Read the privacy notice for details.

Can AI save or change a Project for me

Suggestions should remain editable and require your explicit acceptance. A Project still requires the final confirmation step. Report any change that happens without your intended action.

What happens when I delete or leave

Local deletion, account deletion and uninstalling are different. Check the explanation in the beta before confirming deletion. Contact the published privacy address for a rights request. Backup and provider-log expiry can take longer than removal from the active service.

Will updates or a lost phone lose my data

They may. Do not assume cloud backup or cross-device restoration. Your invitation must identify verified backup, export and recovery options. Ask before uninstalling if you need to keep local records.

Will I be charged and what happens after beta

The proposed beta is free and does not automatically become a subscription. Any later purchase is separate. RV must confirm the beta end date, retention timetable and available export options before closure.

What should I report

Report confusing wording, accessibility problems, unexpected listening, incorrect units or dates, unapproved changes and crashes. Share only necessary details and redacted screenshots.
